Yoga Camp: Summer 2024

  • Camp Bob Marshall SD United States (map)

Do you hear the call of the hills? An invitation to splash in the clear mountain waters, roam in the open ranges, and perhaps climb a tree. Nestled in the Black Hills National Forest in a quiet scout camp tucked away from the main roads, delight in the freedom of rest, daily yoga, meditation, breathwork, and play. Camp Bob Marshall is sheltered from the busyness of Custer State Park, but ideally situated right by the best trails, and access points for kayaking, paddleboarding and exploration.

Unplug from the daily stressors and invest in the remembering of who you are- a beautiful soul, connected to nature, free to be and free to let go. The day will be bookended with yoga practices, running the gamut from alignment based yoga to yin, yoga nidra, meditation, and restorative. During the day, you will have adequate time to go where your heart leads. Perhaps play and adventure through a rigorous hike up Black Elk Peak? Drive the wildlife loop to catch a view of free ranging bison, elk, bighorn sheep, cute lil prairie dogs, or possibly a fuzzy burro. Or maybe your body has been calling out for a nap and you swing in the hammock hearing the song of the local birds. Whatever your needs, you'll be set up to find a renewal from the inside out.

Nourishing meals are once again lovingly prepared by the celebrated French cook and newly published author: Sandrine Pilaz. Learn for yourself why everyone feels fantastic after just a few days of her cooking! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided with all ticket purchases.

Lodging is offered in the quaint rustic cabins on camp grounds. With a view of the lake, you will cozy up in your cabin with bunkmates ready to tell spooky stories late into the night, or if you are in an early riser cabin, tucked in early! Each cabin has a little potbelly stove for heat in case of cooler evening weather. Option to bring a tent for yourself (or you and a few buddies). Please indicate this in your registration form if desired!

This year kayaks and canoes are INCLUDED in the retreat (yahoo!). Simply walk down to the lake and hop in to your boat of choice.

TO BE ANNOUNCED: featured guest teachers, unique venders, and optional add on experiences
